Ultrasonic Transducer is also called ultrasonic vibrator. In the industry, the whole body connecting the transducer and the amplitude transformer is called vibrator.

The Ultrasonic Cleaning Transducer uses the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric ceramics to realize the mutual conversion of electrical energy and mechanical energy (acoustic vibration), and amplifies the device through the front and rear radiation cover blocks matched with acoustic impedance. The frequency is fixed during production. You can customize transducers with different frequencies according to customer needs. The produced transducer vibrator can only be fixed at this frequency. In fact, ultrasonic cavitation threshold is closely related to frequency. The higher the frequency, the higher the cavitation threshold. The lower the frequency is, the lower the cavitation threshold is, the easier cavitation will occur.

At low frequencies, the time interval between liquid compression and rarefaction is longer. The bubble can grow to a larger size to enhance the cavitation strength, which is conducive to cleaning. Therefore, low-frequency ultrasonic cleaning is generally used when the surface of large parts or the adhesion between dirt and workpiece surface is high. But it is easy to damage and corrode the workpiece surface. Therefore, the parts with higher requirements on the workpiece surface are not suitable for selecting lower frequencies. Moreover, the frequency is low, and the noise generated is relatively large. High frequency ultrasonic wave has strong penetrability, so it is advisable to clean parts with high surface finish requirements or complicated surfaces and many blind holes.

On the one hand, the noise of high-frequency ultrasound is also small, which is suitable for cleaning some precision parts, such as some electronic parts, small bearing processing, magnetic materials, etc. For the cleaning of some special workpieces, such as integrated circuit chips and silicon wafer coatings, it is appropriate to choose higher frequency ultrasonic wave for cleaning. For some large workpieces such as automobile engines, valves and other large workpieces, low-frequency ultrasonic should be selected for cleaning.

On the other hand, considering the effect and economy of ultrasonic cleaning, the frequency is generally 20~130KHz. The specific frequency selection shall be determined by corresponding experiments. To sum up, the frequency of ultrasonic vibrator is fixed, so during production, there will be a continuous procedure to test whether the frequency is qualified, and the production will be carried out strictly according to the requirements.
