In essence, the cleaning process is a complex physical, chemical and mechanical interaction process among the surface of parts, pollutants and cleaning media. The most commonly used form of ultrasonic cleaning is to immerse the parts in the ultrasonic cleaning tank containing the cleaning solution. The ultrasonic generator converts the 50HZ common electricity into the ultrasonic frequency electric energy and transmits it to the transducer. Then the ultrasonic transducer converts the high-frequency electric energy into ultrasonic vibration and radiates it into the cleaning solution for cleaning. The advanced ultrasonic cleaning process usually adopts the multi-groove full-automatic and combined cleaning procedure as shown in the figure. When cleaning, put the parts into the net basket made of sound transmission materials for automatic, regular and cyclic cleaning. Parts with a large amount of dirt can be pre-cleaned by immersion, spraying, flushing and other methods, and then ultrasonic cleaning. The ultrasonic cleaning process mostly uses water-based cleaning agent, because this kind of cleaning agent has poor solubility, permeability and dispersibility to oil and lipophilic dirt than ODS cleaning agent. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt ultrasonic heating degreasing and ultrasonic heating cleaning with multiple grooves to speed up the dissolution and dispersion of dirt and make it separate from parts (rough cleaning). Ultrasonic rinsing (fine washing) is to use pure water to wash the residual cleaning medium on the surface of parts. High-pressure washing is to spray high-pressure pure water from top to bottom in an all-round way to wash the small blind hole and the polluted medium in the gap. The clean parts after being sprayed shall be dried by fast hot air or steam to prevent oxidation and corrosion of the parts surface.
