In the manufacturing industry, ultrasonic welding is a common connection technology widely used for the connection and fixation of various materials. The ultrasonic welding transducer is the core component for achieving ultrasonic welding, and its performance directly affects the welding quality. The working principle of ultrasonic welding transducers is based on the vibration energy of ultrasonic waves. When the frequency of ultrasound reaches 20kHz or above, its vibration energy can generate local high temperatures on the metal surface, while applying pressure to achieve the connection between metals. The ultrasonic welding transducer mainly consists of three parts: piezoelectric ceramic, amplitude lever, and welding head. Piezoelectric ceramics convert electrical energy into mechanical vibration, amplify the vibration through a variable amplitude rod, and ultimately achieve ultrasonic vibration on the welding head.
According to different classification standards, there are various types of ultrasonic welding transducers. According to the energy conversion method, it can be divided into direct type and enlarged type; According to the welding head structure, it can be divided into single type and composite type. The single type welding head has a simple structure, concentrated energy, and is suitable for welding small areas; Composite welding heads can achieve synchronous or asynchronous welding at multiple points, suitable for large-area welding.
