Ultrasonic driving power can be divided into self-excited and self-excited according to different excitation methods. The self-excited ultrasonic driving power is widely used in current high-power ultrasonic generators due to its advantages in output power. Most of the exciting ultrasonic driving power sources in current technology use half bridge high-frequency inverters. However, the PWM duty cycle of the half bridge high-frequency inverter is severely lost, and the switching loss of MOS transistors is too large, resulting in low power output efficiency. This problem is particularly prominent in high-power ultrasonic generators. Therefore, how to provide a more efficient external excitation ultrasonic driving power supply has become an urgent problem to be solved.
As a power component of high-power ultrasonic generators, the excitation type ultrasonic driving power supply is used in conjunction with other components such as ultrasonic transducers and DSP processors in existing technologies. When in use, J1 and J2 are connected to the live line and zero line of the power supply as the power supply interfaces; J3 and J4 are respectively connected to the two poles of the ultrasonic transducer as the interface of the ultrasonic transducer; J5, J6, J7, and J8 are used as input ports for phase shift control signals and are respectively connected to the output end of one of the four PWM control signals of the DSP processor.
The power frequency AC mains power is filtered by LC filters composed of L1, C1, L2, and C2, and then rectified by rectifier bridges composed of D1, D2, D3, and D4, as well as D5, to output a DC voltage of 0-220V; This DC voltage is applied to both ends of the high-frequency inverter circuit with Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 as the core. Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 take turns conducting and cutting off under the triggering of the phase shift control signal, thereby converting the DC voltage into the high-frequency voltage required by the ultrasonic transducer and outputting it to the ultrasonic transducer between J3 and J4.
The separately excited ultrasonic driving power supply sets the high-frequency inverter circuit as a full bridge structure with built-in auxiliary network, greatly reducing the loss of duty cycle, thus greatly reducing the switching loss of MOS transistors under high-frequency conditions, and thereby greatly improving the output efficiency of the high-power ultrasonic generator.
