With the development of electronic devices and control circuits, most of the existing ultrasonic power supplies use dedicated integrated control chips, and corresponding ultrasonic control technologies are constantly being updated. The power supply of large ultrasonic generator is a transcendence progress from analog control circuit to digital control computer. The combination of single-chip microcomputer and analog circuit to generate PWM signal can not only eliminate the problems of large power loss, poor versatility, inflexible control and temperature drift of analog control circuit.

There are many advantages to digital control of large ultrasonic generator power supply, such as being able to easily adjust parameters, change program software and control schemes, simplify hardware structure, automatically diagnose faults, and automatically save operating data. Digital control generally adopts three methods to achieve digital control of ultrasonic power supply.

Although the power supply of a large ultrasonic generator can achieve high-precision and high stability control characteristics, and achieve flexible and diverse control functions, due to the limitations of its working frequency, the frequency resolution of the output PWM signal is low, making it difficult to meet frequency fine tuning. In response to the many problems existing in the ultrasonic power supply mentioned above, this article is based on PWM technology, using a microcontroller combined with an analog integrated circuit to form an intelligent control system, and has developed a digital ultrasonic power supply with stable performance, simple control adjustment, and low cost.
